Question 2: How effective is the combination of your main product and ancillary tasks?
The combination and use of brand recognition and uniform branding makes the ancillary tasks and the main product effective. The key use of uniform branding is the artwork seen in the final product and the band website. Also, the theme of nature and in particular the use of tree branches is seen throughout the three tasks. By using the trees in all three products creates awareness that they are related. Lastly, the font style and gold colour is seen in all three products.

The use of colour in these inside pages of the digipak are also effective. The colour of the images are unlike the grey scale final product, however, do relate to the dream scene where we see a distorted reality and the colours are bright and vibrant. Also, the gold font relates to the other ancillary tasks where we see the same font style and colour. Lastly, the tree branches are seen in these four images, helping combine these images to the nature theme which is also in the main product, the band page and the front cover of the digipak.

Overall, the combination of my main product and the ancillary tasks are, in my opinion, very effective. I believe that if an individual was to watch the main product, then come across either the digipak or the band website, they would recognise that the main product is related to the product they are viewing. Continuity throughout the products is the main aspect which ties the three products together. An example of continuity is the use of the gold Lucida Fax Italic font. By considering factors such as font style and colour, and having a constant theme like the tree branches, also connects the three tasks well. Therefore, the combination is obvious and it is clear there is significant uniform branding.
